Yes, we can but at a cost. However, we are limited in what we can do as regards certain gadgets, for some gadgets such as cooker, bread maker etc, we can only check whether the power comes on or not but not whether it is actually working as expected, as that would entail preparing ingredients and performing the actual cooking. If it is just plugging into the socket and switching on that we can do but if it entails connection of cables such as teleconferencing set, music component, desktop computer etc, we won’t be able to be of help. We will let you know whether we will be able to meet your request or not when you ask for a quote.

The number of days after purchase that a return is possible varies from vendor to vendor. So, you have to check with the vendor whether it is possible or not and if it is possible, schedule a pickup date for your package with the vendor. You have to inform us by email about the package to be returned, vendor name etc, so that we have your package ready for the pickup and this comes with a small fee. Yes we do handle mails, bills, payment of bills (with scanned receipt), scanning of mails so that you can read online wherever you are and if instructed we can discard your mails or have your mails forwarded at scheduled times convenient to you.

You are advised not to declare unrealistic amount as it is bound to raise suspicion and probably lead to penalties.

Users may move from a higher membership plan to a lower plan anytime they choose by providing written notice to MyJapanAddress , provided however that such downgrade shall not be effective until such time as the current subscription expires. Therefore, if there is time left on the subscription, the subscription will remain active until the next renewal date, or the annual contract expires, at which time the subscription will expire, and the user will no longer be entitled to the services unique to that membership plan.
Plan upgrade requires immediate payment. Once payment is processed, the user will have access to the upgraded features of the new plan.
Upgrade is prorated until the next renewal date, and credit is given for the remaining time on the existing (lower cost) plan if it is the premium plan.
It is possible to change the billing cycle from monthly to yearly or vice versa only after the billing month or period ends. User has to notify us by email of intention to change billing cycle.
It is a very easy and fast process that won’t take up to 10 minutes. All you have to do is fill out the Registration Form and immediately a notification mail will be sent to you with your assigned Suite number and you can start shopping online.
You can do so anytime by sending an email to our support team, for Premium and Gold members they will be charged membership fees up until the last day of the month that the account is being closed and for those with yearly subscription, their accounts will be closed at the end of their subscription as there are no refunds for voluntary closing of accounts. For Standard account holders their accounts will be closed with immediate effect if there are no pending issues with the holder of the account.

Personal shopper is a service we offer to our customers who are not able to shop online due to the retailer not shipping abroad or the retailer doesn’t accept foreign issued credit cards or the inability to navigate a website in Japanese due to poor or no Japanese knowledge. Hence, instead of the customer, we purchase on behalf of the customer.
The overall procedure is as follows

The duration of free storage varies with the type of plan, the rates are as follows, standard membership plan 15days, Premium plan 30 days and Gold plan 45 days. A storage fee of US $1-$5 per day depending on the size of the package is levied when free storage duration is exceeded. You will be informed by email when it is about to expire or you can check from the dashboard.
Yes, we offer package consolidation services to all members.
You can shop online and have as many packages sent to your Japan address as you like, all you have to do when the things are all delivered and you are ready for the things to be shipped, is to go to the dashboard and select all or the items you want combined and shipped.
Take note that the number of free consolidation varies according to plan, standard plan is one free consolidation per month, premium Plan is three consolidations a month and Gold plan is free and without any limits.
Yes you can, but you have to give us tacit approval and assurance that the goods are safe and free of concealed contraband items, and the goods will be accepted only after a thorough check under the presence of the deliverer of the goods. We have zero tolerance for drugs, stolen items, firearms and banned items, any goods from unknown sources delivered to us through your arrangement that are found to run against Japanese or international law will be returned to the sender.
Check the address on your order whether it contains your suite number, if it doesn’t, email us your suite number, name of vendor, description of your order and the tracking number provided by the vendor if there is one, give some time for orders shipped on Fridays or during the weekend as it is not until Monday that our records are updated.

No, we never ship with a carrier other than the one designated by the user, if for some unforeseen reason the carrier designated by the user is out of service or limited in its service we will notify the user by mail and propose to the user a faster and cheaper alternative. The final decision as to the choice of the carrier rest with the user.
We ship to more than 250 countries, however, there are countries we are not allowed by legislation to ship to due to economic embargo or sanctions. Please check to see whether your country is not in the list of countries that are sanctioned by Japan. Please contact us if your country is not listed when registering for our service.
Yes, we do. It comes with an extra charge depending on the size or weight of the package due to the disruption of the parcel handling process. You may also incur transportation cost from our facility to the courier company, if we have to deliver when the courier pickup is unavailable or is over for the day. The cost will be relayed to you before you make a final decision and payment.
We are sorry packages needing refrigeration cannot be shipped.
There is no problem shipping it if it is new, however if it is used, it cannot be shipped if it contains flammable compound like fuel. You have to request a quotation if you want us to clean and make it shipping ready.

Shipping charges are determined by our courier partners and not us, all international shipping carriers use Billable weight to calculate shipping rates. Freight is calculated on the basis of the Gross weight or Dimensional weight and the heavier weight is used as the (Billable weight). The Gross weight (actual weight) is the weight including packing material when put on a scale. Whereas Dimensional (Volumetric) weight is the size (Length x Width x Height) in inches (centimeters) divided by a Dim factor of 139 for inch based size and 5000 for metric (centimeter) based size. Hence, a stuffed bear will have a higher dimensional weight than actual gross weight, while a gold bar will have a higher gross weight than dimensional weight.
The shipping rates provided by the shipping rate calculator are final and inclusive of fuel surcharges. However, the final rate that you are charged might be different from the estimated rate provided by the calculator mainly due to the actual weight of your package being different from your estimated weight after packaging.
