All about JKT-F

Our goal was a rice cooker that can bring out the good flavors of rice as much as a clay pot does. This rice cooker with ceramic coated inner pot can cook fluffy rice where each grain is pump. The product can also be used as multi cooker capable of cooking dishes.

Ceramic coating is applied to the outside surface of the inner pot.
Thanks to the heat retention effect of the ceramic material coating, a high temperature inside the pot is maintained to bring out the sweetness of the rice.
Far-infrared ceramic coating is applied to the inside surface of the pot, so that fine bubbles can be produced as if the rice was cooked in a clay pot, bringing out the stickiness and springiness of the rice, along with its flavor thanks to the far-infrared radiation effect.

The inner pot with the 3-layer metal structure is heated efficiently.
Heat is evenly distributed in the pot, making each grain of rice plump.
The high heat generated by induction heating (IH) is quickly and directly transferred to the rice.

High-heat powerful IH

Powerful induction heating (IH) that brings out the sweetness and original flavor of rice.
The bottom and wall of the inner pot are heated as if the entire inner pot was encompassed by a strong fire so that the cooked rice can be plump to the core.

The rice is also steamed at high temperatures of about 110 to 115°C（230-239°F）, which accelerates gelatinization of the rice to bring out its original sweetness (flavor) of the rice.

The setting to cook 1 to 2 cups in about 17 minutes (with JKT-F10W or 2 to 3 cups in about 20 minutes with JKT-F18W) is provided to allow you to eat freshly cooked rice on busy days. Thanks to the far-infrared radiation effect and heat storage performance of the ceramic coated inner pot and the excellent heat conductivity of the multi-layered pot, heat is efficiently transferred to the rice in each of the water absorption, heating, and steaming processes, enabling a small amount of rice to be cooked quickly.

“Slow Cook” menu

On this setting, after putting ingredients in the rice cooker and selecting the time, all you have to do is wait until the rice cooker finishes cooking a dish automatically without using a stove.
After the contents are simmered at a temperature close to boiling, the heating temperature is reduced slowly to stew and flavor them deeply.
The cooking time can be set in increments of 1 minute in a range from 1 to 30 minutes or in increments of 5 minutes in a range from 30 to 180 minutes.
The same rice cooker can be used both for slow cooking and for quick and easy meals that take less than 20 minutes.
Use this setting for preparing a meal on a day when you are not cooking rice or for preparing some dishes in advance on weekends.
